Aviation Club

Our Detachments Flight simulator is our most powerful tool for cadets to practice aviation. Utilizing the HTC VIVE’s industry leading virtual reality headset in tandem with the Saitek x52 pro throttle, stick, and rudder pedals, our system is fully equipped to handle training in all airframes from trainers to fighters. Our system is leagues ahead when it comes to realistic control movement and student immersion. The Flying Tigers Aviation club plans to add a Cessna 172 yoke and throttle from Saitek to our arsenal as well as upgrade to the highly anticipated Microsoft flight simulator 2020 by next year. We hope to get another simulator running in the future and double our operations as a detachment that will lead the northeast region in commissioning aviators.
