Emphasis on competing theoretical perspectives, the role of socio-cultural contexts, and cultural diversity. Particular connections between theory, research, and practice. Effective Fall 2021, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Social Inquiry I, Research and Information Literacy.
