Nadia received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Latin American Studies and Spanish. During this time she studied in Puebla, Mexico, where she also worked as a research assistant on contemporary Mexican film. She completed her MA at BU in 2011 and is now in the doctoral program. Her research interests include performance and identity theory and issues of race and gender in contemporary Latin American literature, particularly in Mexico and Brazil.
