CAS, the publisher of SciFinder, has discontinued the client version of SciFinder as of June 30, 2011. Scifinder access is now only available in a web version. Users of the previous client version, should now create an online account for web access. For assistance or questions, please contact BU's chemistry librarian, David Fristrom

Connect to SciFinder Web [Requires a SciFinder Account]

You will be asked to enter your BU username and Kerberos password, and then your SciFinder username and password. Only seven BU users may access SciFinder at the same time, so you may need to wait if the system is at capacity.

SciFinder Scholar provides access to the complete Chemical Abstracts database, indexing articles from journals and other publications; national and international patents; and data for substances and reactions.  More about SciFinder Scholar.
