About the Library

The Frederick S. Pardee Management Library is named for its donor, Frederick S. Pardee, a recipient of undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Boston University School of Management. The library, opened in March 1997, is an important component in the educational program in the School of Management. Located on the west end of the second, third, and fourth floors of the Rafik B. Hariri Building, the library is a modern facility with ample study space, team rooms for group study, and ethernet and wireless connectivity.

The mission of the Frederick S. Pardee Management Library is to provide information resources and services in business and management in support of Boston University School of Management and Boston University research and instructional programs in these areas. The library provides an extensive collection of online and print resources in business and management- related subjects and offers information and instructional services in order to maximize the use of these materials and resources. The Management Collection Development Policy describes, in greater detail, the scope of the library collection.

The library's resources are supported by Mugar Memorial Library's extensive research collection in the social sciences and humanities.  A map of all Boston University libraries is available here.
