Campus Congress

We are excited to be joined by special guest speaker, Deputy Director Dr. Kei Kawashima-Ginsberg, from the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning & Engagement (CIRCLE). She will speak about the importance of the political engagement of our generation, and she will discuss the significance of CSA and its actions. Afterwards, you, the student body, will vote on the policies presented by CSA. There will also be free food at the event! -- What is Common Sense Action? CSA is a national student-run grassroots organization. Our mission is to expand opportunities for Millennials through policy making. There are currently 22 Chapters across the country, and this is our Chapter. Why should you care? We want to bring your voice-- the voices of the Millennial generation-- to the policy making table to fight for generational equity. What is the Campus Congress? The Campus Congress is where you, the Boston University student body, vote on the policies that CSA has put together. We have created policies on the following: Public Service, Economic Mobility, Fiscal Responsibility, and Millennial Investments. What happens after the Campus Congress? The policies voted for by the Boston University student body will be presented at the National CSA Conference. All 22 Chapters will combine their policies to create one national agenda to be presented to the US government in the upcoming year.
