A MicroFridge® is a combination microwave, refrigerator, and freezer unit available for student rental during the academic year and summer terms.

Applications are available through the My Housing Portal. After logging in, select the “MicroFridge/Safe Rental” link located in the top red ribbon.

Students should place their order at least three weeks before move-in to have the MicroFridge® delivered to their room before arrival.

Yes. The MicroFridge® is delivered to your room at the start of the rental period and picked up after move-out at no additional cost.

If you move to another on-campus residence, BU will move your MicroFridge® to your new location free of charge. Email vending@bu.edu with your name, BU ID, old building and room number, and new building and room number.

No. MicroFridges® are not delivered to apartments that already include a refrigerator.

Electronic safes can be unlocked using:

• Your Terrier Card
• A credit card in your name
• A personal PIN set through the keypad lock
  

No. Electronic safes cannot be delivered to apartment-style housing locations.

At the end of your rental period, leave the electronic safe in your room. BU staff will pick it up after move-out.

Submit a service request and refund request through the Vending Services website so the issue can be addressed.

Select or scan your items at the payment kiosk and complete your purchase using an accepted payment method.

Yes. Machines are monitored by cameras and all transactions are recorded. Misuse may be reported to BUPD and/or Student Conduct.

Summer storage includes pickup from your campus residence, secure storage over the summer, and free boxes and packing tape.

During move-out, UPS staff help students pick-up and ship belongings directly to their destination outside BU residence halls.

Ship Ahead allows students to send belongings before the semester begins. Items are stored in a climate-controlled warehouse and delivered upon arrival.

Students must create an account or log into the UPS Student Portal to schedule services.

TerrierWeb is an online laundry tracking system that allows students to check real-time availability, view cycle times, receive notifications, and monitor machine usage. It can also be used to check your Terrier Card balance.

Log into TerrierWeb for any Terrier Card-enabled laundry facility to view live availability.

Laundry facilities accept:

• Terrier Card (select locations)
• Coins
• Mobile payment via GPay or KioSoft
