Next Boston Mayor May Be a BU Alum
Boston City Councilor Annissa Essaibi George (CAS’96) will be on the ballot for mayor of Boston on election day, November 2, facing off against fellow Councilor Michelle Wu. Essaibi George came in second in the city’s preliminary mayoral election September 14, with 22.5 percent of the vote, behind Wu, who garnered 33.4 percent.
