UNDERGRADUATE POSITIONS:
HTC Newsletter Staff Writer
The Howard Thurman Center needs a student to assemble and write blog posts for our weekly newsletter that serves more than 4,000 people. Attention to detail and use of the BU editorial style guide is required. Familiarity with Robly, photography, and design is helpful. All students on the HTC Marcom team must be willing to help teammates with additional marketing duties as assigned.
HTC Video Producer
We need a team member who loves to shoot and edit social media videos of all kinds. That means short or mid-form 16 X 9 YouTube videos cut with editing or super quick iPhone videos for Tiktok, Instagram, and other social media platforms. We also need someone with photography skills or who is willing to learn. All students on the HTC Marcom team must be willing to help teammates with additional marketing duties as assigned.
HTC Design Specialist Undergraduate
The Howard Thurman Center is looking for a detail and deadline-oriented student to design weekly flyers, event programs, swag, newsletter images, brochures and other marketing materials. Student must be willing to learn the BU marketing guidelines and use appropriate logos. All students on the HTC Marcom team must be willing to help teammates with additional marketing duties as assigned.

We need a detail and deadline-oriented graduate student to design high-quality flyers, programs, swag, newsletter images, brochures and other marketing materials. The student must learn the BU marketing guidelines. Familiarity with the Adobe Design Suite, and Canva is helpful. All students on the HTC Marcom team must be willing to help teammates with additional marketing duties as assigned.
HTC Data Specialist Graduate Assistant
This GA will assist the Howard Thurman Center’s Marketing & Communications Assistant Director with marketing strategy, collecting and organizing data on event attendance, facilities use, and social media reach. This will be a role that is heavy on data collection and organization. All students on the HTC Marcom team must be willing to help teammates with additional marketing duties as assigned.
