The Howard Thurman Center Operations Assistants are responsible for creating a hospitable environment for HTC guests, as well as providing administrative support to HTC full-time staff. HTC Operations Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, greeting guests, logging visitor data, answering phones, answering questions about the event reservation system and supporting programming and administrative needs. Operations Assistants must also be proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable conversing with peers. As the first staff member visitors meet upon entering the HTC,  Operations Assistants will be expected to share the Thurman Center mission and philosophy when appropriate.
