HTC Undergraduate Marcom Assistant: Video Focus

This is a position on the Howard Thurman Center’s Marketing and Communications team. We need a team member who loves to shoot and edit polished videos and super quick iPhone videos for Tiktok, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

HTC Undergraduate Operations Assistant 

The Howard Thurman Center is looking for responsible, friendly Operations Assistants to greet visitors, check IDs, and assist the professional staff with daily operations of the spaces in the Center.

GRADUATE POSITIONS:

HTC Graduate Assistant for Thurman Programs

The Graduate Assistant for Programs will support the Howard Thurman Center’s Associate Director and Director with facilitating special events and will help supervise undergrads who run weekly programs for crafts, discussions, and a book club. (This is not a technology, IT, or computer science position.)

HTC Graduate Assistant HTC Culture Council

Under the supervision of the Howard Thurman Center’s Associate Director, this GA will facilitate leadership training, networking opportunities, and community excursions for e-board members of student clubs and organizations on the HTC Culture Council.

HTC Graduate Assistant TEDxBU

This GA will assist the Howard Thurman Center’s Associate Director with organizing the TEDxBU main event and salons. Duties will include, selecting themes and speakers, providing feedback, marketing on social media, and collaborating with other BU departments.

This GA will assist the Howard Thurman Center’s Marketing & Communications Assistant Director with marketing strategy, collecting and organizing data on event attendance, facilities use, and social media reach, as well as assisting with the production of marketing materials.
