Winter 25-26 Book Drive for the Prison Book Program

The LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff is collecting books for donation to the Prison Book Program, an organization that provides free books to incarcerated people across the U.S. The Prison Book Program has created a wish list of LGBTQIA+ books. The Center will help facilitate delivering to the Program any donations that meet the organization’s guidelines.

The Program accepts new and gently used paperback books with no liquid damage, blank notebooks and journals, calendars for the upcoming year, and advance reading and review copies. We are accepting donations the week of December 15 and the month of January (1/5 – 1/29) at the Center, 808 Commonwealth Ave, Suite 255. If you prefer to donate online, please go to this link.

Drop off times: Monday through Thursday, 10 am – 4 pm or by appointment.
