Know Your Status: STI/HIV Testing

  • Starts: 10:00 am on Thursday, December 4, 2025
  • Ends: 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025

Boston University has collaborated with Victory Programs to bring free HIV and STI testing to campus. The testing services will be available to all Boston University students, faculty, and staff. Please remember to bring your BU ID for entry. During the appointment, a trained representative from Victory Programs will conduct an intake assessment, review sexual and substance use risk factors, provide risk-reduction counseling, and collect a blood sample, urine sample, and optional self-collected genital swab specimens. All samples will be collected by Victory Programs and sent directly to the state laboratory for analysis. Approximately one week after the appointment, Victory Programs will communicate the test results to participants. Boston University will not collect or handle any specimens obtained during testing and will not receive or have access to any test results. Participants are encouraged to bring an insurance card; however, testing is still accessible to individuals those who prefer not to use insurance or are uninsured.
