Know Your Status: STI/HIV Testing

  • Starts: 10:00 am on Thursday, December 4, 2025
  • Ends: 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025

Boston University has collaborated with Victory Programs to bring free HIV and STI testing to campus. The testing services will be available to students, faculty, and staff. During the appointment, a trained representative from Victory Programs will conduct an intake assessment, review sexual and substance use risk factors, provide risk-reduction counseling, and collect a blood sample, urine sample, and optional self-collected genital swab specimens.

Please note that Boston University will not collect, handle, or access any specimens obtained during testing. All samples will be collected exclusively by Victory Programs and sent directly to the state laboratory for analysis. Test results will be communicated to participants by Victory Programs approximately one week after the appointment. Boston University will not receive or have access to any test results.

A BU ID is required for entry. Participants are encouraged to bring an insurance card, if available; however, testing is still accessible to individuals without insurance or those who prefer not to use insurance.

This service is open to all Boston University students, faculty, and staff.

Sponsored by the LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff and the LGBTQIA+ Student Resource Center.
