- Ends: 1:30 pm on Friday, December 2, 2022
Featuring Dr. Carl Streed Jr, Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and the Research Lead for the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery at Boston Medical Center
Despite decades of research, there has been a rapid acceleration in LGBTQ health research. With improving tolerance and acceptance of the full diversity of sexual and gender identities, research has been able to explore new sources of data to better assess and address the various inequities experienced by marginalized populations. Dr. Streed will share some of his journey in the field, what we know, and what we need to know to live healthier and happier lives.
