John B. Foote (1850)

John B. Foote was the first graduate of the Concord Biblical Institute.  Born in Martinsburg, New York in 1826, for most of his career he served pastorates in the Black River Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in western New York.  He was given honorary degrees from Wesleyan University and Genesee College in 1869.
