Earl Alan Roadman

Earl Alan Roadman, known as “Roady,” was a native of Cedar Falls, Iowa and attended Upper Iowa University. Like so many other “theologs” of his day, Roady excelled in debates, willing a number of contests and prizes.

Friends, seniors, countrymen, lend me your “E. A. R.,”
A man of some prominence now draweth near.
Though opinion inter him when some critic flays him,
