Benjamin Babcock (1900)
Babcock was born on November 16, 1872 in Fall River, Wisconsin. After completing his primary education there, he attended Lawrence University from 1892 until 1897. After earning his A.B., Babcock went to Boston University School of Theology, where he earned an S.T.B. in 1900. That same year, he married Anna G. Armitage. She was from Oakfield, Wisconsin, and also a graduate of Lawrence. She earned a B.S. and worked as a high school teacher. Lawrence spent his life as a minister in the M. E. Church.
