Workshop: Design Thinking

Tuesday, March 24th, 9:30-12:30pm. In-Person.

This session is at capacity. Please see our other Lift-Off sessions throughout the week.

In today’s world, challenges are becoming more complex, interconnected, and frequently ambiguous. Traditional methods often struggle to address such issues effectively. Design Thinking offers a human-centered, and iterative approach to innovation, focusing on understanding users and redefining problems to develop meaningful solutions.

This interactive workshop introduces participants to the core principles of Design Thinking. Throughout the session, attendees will actively engage with the five phases of Design Thinking—by working through a simulated problem-solving scenario. Through hands-on experience, participants will apply the methodology in real time, strengthening their ability to tackle complex issues in the future.

Design Thinking practices are beneficial even in environments where large-scale innovation is not the primary focus. By adopting these approaches, participants can ensure that their solutions genuinely address the underlying problems. The tools and mindsets learned in this workshop empower individuals to analyze challenges more effectively and create impactful solutions, regardless of their professional context.
