Meg Matthews, LICSW received her MSW from Boston University School of Social Work in 1999. She has many years of experience in the field as a clinician, supervisor, program manager, and educator. Her areas of interest include child and adolescent mental health, adolescent girls’ issues, youth development programming and group work. She is a past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the International Association for Social Work with Groups. Meg has been an advisor since 2011 and also teaches part-time at BUSSW.

Practice and scholarly focus

Ms. Matthews has over 17 years of experience in the field as a clinician, supervisor, program manager, and educator. Her areas of interest are child and adolescent mental health, adolescent girls’ issues, youth development programming and group work. She is a past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the International Association for Social Work with Groups and has presented on group work in a variety of agencies and settings.
