Lisa DeAlmeida is the evaluation coordinator for the Parenting and Early Childhood Research Group, led by Dr. Ruth Paris at BUSSW. In this role, she oversees program evaluation and research initiatives focused on improving parent-child relationships and early childhood outcomes for vulnerable families.

She works on multiple SAMHSA- and NIH-funded projects that examine the development, implementation, and evaluation of trauma-informed, attachment-based therapeutic interventions. Her work centers on supporting caregivers with substance use disorders and their children, as well as immigrant and refugee caregivers and young children with histories of trauma.
