From college to Borneo with the Peace Corps, to graduate school I prepared for a career in Social Work. I have worked in Child Protection, Disabilities, Mental Health, Gerontology, Education, and Administration. Each experience gave me new skills and knowledge. I believe Social Work has many facets, and our strength is seeing the individual, understanding the environment that shapes the individual, and seeking social justice and change as necessary.
