Cheryl Azza

Cheryl Azza, LICSW, is a practice specialist at BUSSW and has extensive experience as a social work professional and as a field instructor. She has been recognized as a recipient of the Excellence in Field Instruction Award. Currently she is a clinical supervisor for social work interns in the BU School of Law Criminal Defense Clinic and Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. In addition to this role, she has a private practice specializing in work with youth, young adults and court involved individuals. She is also a contracted provider of social work services to youth and adult clients of the Committee for Public Counsel Services, the Public Defender Agency of Mass. She is past co-chair and current member of the NASW MA Chapter Criminal Justice Committee.
