Sharon Jacobs
Associate Director of Psychiatry
I am truly delighted to be a member of the Boston University community for over twenty years. It is a privilege to support students during this exciting, growth-filled and sometimes stressful period of their lives. During my psychiatry residency, I focused on providing care to trauma survivors and university students. Additional areas of professional interest include Identity development, anxiety, grief and supporting First Generation Students. I highly value psychotherapy and the incorporation of non-medication interventions including mindfulness-based practices. I care deeply about our planet and all of its creatures great and small. I am curious about the world and its inhabitants and love to travel. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities with family, friends and my beloved pup.
Personal Hobbies
Hiking, jogging, cross country skiing, sailing, listening to music and curling up with a good novel.
