Nathan Brewer

I am a clinical social worker at the Sexual Assault Response and Prevention Center, where I provide counseling and advocacy to survivors of trauma. My clinical work has been in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other types of traumatic violence – as well as working with gender and sexual minorities (LGBTQ+), and those affected by HIV. I take an eclectic approach to my clinical work, incorporating aspects of many types of practice: trauma-responsive practice, liberation health (anti-oppression) work, solutions-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and internal family systems (IFS) therapy.
