Melissa Paz
Assistant Director of Mental Health Promotion
Originally from Miami, I am a first-generation American with a passion for spaces that embrace a multicultural, human-centered approach to student health. My professional and personal focus lies at the intersection of self-care and community-care. I facilitate workshops and develop programs to support and enhance student mental health at BU, on topics like stress, peer support, and mindfulness. I love working with students as they navigate the many transitions of university life and collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to cultivate an empathetic, compassionate, and uplifting campus environment.
Personal Hobbies
Outside of BU you can find me doing theater, catching up with family and friends, and getting as much time in nature as I possibly can!
