Jesse Battilana
Nurse Practitioner
I started as a provider in an internal medicine department after changing careers from education and youth development. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing at Emory University. Immediately before joining BU Student Health Services, I worked as a locum tenens nurse practitioner, taking short term contracts with various clinics who were in transition or needed coverage while providers were on parental leave. My favorite contract as a locum provider was in a college health clinic, so I was delighted to be joining Student Health Services at BU. My primary goal as a provider are to ensure that my patients feel comfortable, respected, and well-informed in my exam room. I am a resource to help you feel like you have the knowledge to make decisions about your health.
Personal Hobbies
When I am not in the office, I can be found bicycling around Boston, playing ultimate frisbee, and playing with my dog, Zoya the Destroyer.
