Jenny Carron

I have a broad background in higher education and nonprofit administration, with a focus on organizational strategy, executive support, and operational coordination. I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from BU, and I’m passionate about supporting teams that support students and the educational mission.

I first came to Boston University from Los Angeles for college and, like a lot of students, just kind of stuck around. While working on campus as a student, I was introduced to higher education as a career, which led to my first professional role at Boston University School of Law.

After a recent stretch in the Pacific Northwest, my husband and I decided to make our way back to Boston and agreed that this is where we’re meant to be. I’m excited to be joining SHS and back at BU for what I hope is the long haul!

Outside of work, I’m usually doing some kind of craft (the list of hobbies keeps growing), traveling when I can, or reading. I live with my husband and our two dogs: Cheggy, short for Manchego, who I absolutely adore and is perfect, and Pepper, short for Pepperjack, who is currently in her puppy velociraptor phase. Please send any spare good thoughts for the next two to three years.
