Nurse Practitioner

My nursing journey began in Chicago, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As an RN, I worked in diverse inner-city settings, including the emergency department at Rush University Medical Center, while completing my Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Rush University. I began my Nurse Practitioner career at Teen Living Programs in Chicago, providing primary care and health education to homeless, college-age youth, many from the LGBTQIA+ community who had experienced family rejection and racial trauma. Caring for college-age populations has always been my passion. I previously served as the Symptom Surveillance Supervisor, leading BU’s Triage Healthcare Specialists in the Back2BU COVID-19 program. Now, I am honored to continue supporting BU students at Student Health Services, delivering compassionate, high-quality primary care tailored to their unique needs.

Personal Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, taking my Boston Terrier, Ferdinand, on walks, and spending quality time with my husband and our two college-age sons. You’ll also often find me at Agganis Arena, cheering on our Terriers and soaking in the excitement of hockey games
