Talking about one self is a hard thing for a mom, a psychologist and an immigrant. Yet, these identities allow me to cultivate a sense of curiosity to other people’s stories, which would help me support others in ways that is more meaningful. At SHS, whether it is the students who come in for support, my colleagues or other support staff in the building, there is always multitude of stories to listen to and support to provide.
