Evian Yang
Clinical Intern
I am a second-year student in Boston University School of Medicine’s Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine program, and I am thrilled to be joining CAPS as a clinical intern. I am passionate about supporting college students through the unique challenges and opportunities of this stage of life. My special interests include working with multicultural and multilingual individuals, exploring family and relationship dynamics, and understanding how culture shapes identity and well-being.
Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, and Vancouver, Canada, I proudly consider myself a West Coast girl for much of my life. As a Chinese-Canadian first-generation immigrant and first-generation master’s student, I deeply appreciate the resilience, complexity, and strength that come from navigating multiple cultures, and I aim to bring that understanding into my work. My long-term professional goal is to offer bilingual therapeutic services that help bridge cultural and language gaps in mental health care.
Personal Hobbies
