We believe that sex should be safe, pleasurable, and shame-free.
Condom Fairy sends free safer sex supplies and sexual health information to students’ on or off-campus mailboxes, upon request. Condom Fairy makes it easier to practice safer sex without concerns about cost or privacy.
Available Safer Sex Supplies
Condom Fairy offers a wide selection of safer sex supplies to meet your unique needs. Supplies come in a variety of sizes, materials, and flavors. Before placing an order, please review the available supplies to consider what you need or would like to try. Remember, it may take some trial and error to find what works best for you!
External Condoms
External condoms can be used for vaginal, anal, or oral sex on a penis and with sex toys. All of the external condoms offered by Condom Fairy are spermicide-free, lightly coated with lubricant, and can help prevent unintended pregnancy and STIs.
Flavored external condoms are specifically designed to protect against STIs that can be transmitted through oral sex. Generally, flavored condoms are not recommended for other types of sex (vaginal or anal) as they may cause irritation or infection. Watch a video about how to put on an external condom or review a step-by-step guide on how to put on an external condom.
Condom Fairy offers the following external condoms:
Trojan ENZ (standard-sized, latex)
Lifestyles Snugger-Fit (smaller-sized, latex)
Trojan Magnum (larger-sized, latex)
SKYN Non-Latex (standard-sized, latex-free)
Lifestyles Flavored (standard-sized, latex)
Find Your Fit
To make sure your external condom is working properly, it’s important to use the correct size. If you’re not sure which size is right for you, consider the “Find Your Fit” pack. With the Find Your Fit, you can try different sizes, pick which works best for you, and place your next Condom Fairy order with the condom of your choice. Watch a video about how to choose the right size condom or read through this guide.
Find Your Fit includes the following external condoms:
2 Trojan ENZ (standard-sized, latex)
2 Lifestyles Snugger-Fit (smaller-sized, latex)
2 Trojan Magnum (larger-sized, latex)
Internal Condoms
Internal condoms can be used for vaginal or anal sex and with sex toys. Internal condoms are not specifically designed for oral sex. This internal condom is spermicide-free, lightly coated with lubricant, and can help prevent unintended pregnancy and STIs.
Watch a video about how to use an internal condom for vaginal or anal sex and to learn more about internal condoms.
Condom Fairy offers the following internal condoms:
Lube (also known as personal lubricant) can be used for vaginal, anal, or oral sex, and with sex toys. Lube can help increase pleasure and reduce friction, decreasing the risk of condom breakage. Condom Fairy offers water-based lube, which is safe to use with all types of condoms. Read more about lube and how to use lube with condoms.
Oral dams (also known as dental dams) can be used for oral sex on a vagina or anus and with sex toys. Oral dams are thin sheets of material that are specifically designed to prevent the spread of STIs during oral sex on a vagina or anus. Read about how to use an oral dam or watch a video on how to use an oral dam.
If you’re in a pinch, you can find safer sex supplies from Condom Fairy at many on-campus locations. Available supplies include standard-size external condoms, lube, and oral dams.

I never received my order. What happened?
We’re sorry you did not receive your Condom Fairy order! Since we cannot track individual orders, we can’t be certain about the specific reason you did not receive your order.
The most common reason students do not receive their order is because there is an error in the mailing address that you entered on the Condom Fairy order form. If the address is invalid, your order may be delayed or not delivered.
Common errors include:
Listing your room number instead of your mailbox number. To find your on-campus mailbox number, you can contact BU Housing.
Entering the incorrect address. This may be either an incorrect zip code, street suffix (e.g., Terrace, Street, Way, etc.), and/or address spelling typos.
Your off-campus mailbox is not marked with your name, or the name on your mailbox does not match the name on your order (e.g., you used a nickname or your initials for your order instead of your full name).
When placing your next order, please make sure:
Your address does not include any typos or errors
You are using the correct mailbox number
The name on your order matches the name on your mailbox (off-campus)
Where does Condom Fairy deliver?
Condom Fairy delivers to BU students within Massachusetts. Due to budget constraints, Condom Fairy cannot deliver outside of Massachusetts.
I made a mistake, can I change my order?
Due to the volume of orders Condom Fairy receives, we cannot make changes to the items you selected in your order. If your order has already been filled, we will not be able to change or cancel your order.
Here’s a list of the most common order mistakes and what to do next:
Incorrect address/delivery information. If there is an error in the address, the order will not be delivered. Email cfairy@bu.edu to request the order be canceled, and submit a new order with the correct information.
Wrong supplies. If you ordered supplies you don’t want, email cfairy@bu.edu to request your order be canceled, and submit a new order.
Forgot something. If you forgot an additional supply, place an order for the desired item. Condom Fairy will fill both orders.
How often can I order from Condom Fairy?
There is no set limit on the amount or frequency of Condom Fairy orders you can request. However, please only order the supplies you need for yourself. Condom Fairy supplies are limited, and Condom Fairy would like to send orders to all students who request safer sex supplies!
Why are informational materials included in every order?
Sharing accurate, affirming, and inclusive sexual health information is an important part of Condom Fairy. Condom Fairy believes that safer sex isn’t only about using safer sex supplies like condoms or oral dams. Safer sex also includes regular STI screenings, having open conversations about sexual health with any potential partners, and much more.
Condom Fairy materials are meant to share important sexual health information about topics like STI testing, consent, and how to use safer sex supplies, to help support safer sex at BU. Certain sexual health information is included in every order, and other information changes throughout the year.
Why do you only carry certain supplies?
Condom Fairy strives to carry a wide range of safer sex supplies that serve the needs of BU students. If there is a product you think Condom Fairy should offer, we would greatly appreciate it if you share that feedback in the Condom Fairy survey, released at the end of each semester.
Can you provide birth control or Plan B in my order?
The primary goal of Condom Fairy is to increase access to condoms and other safer sex supplies by removing potential cost, privacy, and embarrassment barriers.
I'm an RA or student group leader. Can I order bulk safer sex supplies for an event?
Condom Fairy does not offer bulk safer sex supplies for RAs or student groups. We aim to meet individual student needs by offering a free, discreet, and private way to access safer sex supplies.
We host several Condom Fairy pop-ups at various on-campus locations every academic year (read more about “Condom Fairy Pop-Ups” above). Condom Fairy Pop-Ups are not available upon request, but we are always looking for new locations for future pop-ups. We invite you to please suggest a location (including your dorm/ hall) for a future Condom Fairy Pop-Up location.
Be on the lookout for Condom Fairy Pop-Up announcements promoted in the RA newsletter, on SHS social media, and on the SHS calendar.
