Clare Whitney

Clare has been a licensed, registered dietitian/nutritionist with the Sargent Choice Nutrition Center since 2019. She earned a Master of Science in Nutrition from Boston University Sargent College and completed her training at Beth Israel Lahey Health Beverly Hospital.

Clare collaborates with her clients to work towards a health-promoting, flexible and sustainable eating pattern. Clare draws on evidence-based nutrition to support clients with eating disorders and disordered eating, chronic disease and related risk factors, as well as for general wellness and meal planning. Please note, Clare’s counseling practice is exclusively through Telehealth as of January 2024.

Clare’s other responsibilities at the center include recipe development and quality control for the Sargent Choice Healthy Food and Education program. She works closely with BU Dining Services to assure recipe and nutrition information are complete and accurate.

Clare enjoys precepting students and future Registered Dietitians. She assists with extracurricular seminars and demonstrations through the University.
