Accreditation

The CRC IRB is fully accredited by AAHRPP.

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a committee of scientists and non-scientists whose charge is to oversee the safety and protection of human subjects in research based on ethical guidelines, federal regulations, state laws, and institutional policies as they apply to individual research studies. The IRB staff is a team of professionals dedicated to making the IRB process seamless and efficient for Investigators on the Charles River Campus.

Virtual Office Hours

General IRB: The BU-CRC campus IRB offers virtual office hours every Wednesday from 1-2 pm. Each time slot is limited to 15 minutes. During this session, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and questions about the IRB process with an individual IRB analyst.

Wheelock School of Education: Office hours are held every Thursday from 2-3 pm. Each time slot is limited to 15 minutes. During this session, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and questions about the IRB process with Senior IRB Analyst Diana Galarza Vergara.

Kindly note that scheduling for office hours is flexible and subject to change. Please check the website for updates.
