Jessica is the Program Manager for Strategic Research Proposals in Research Development. In this role, she broadly supports faculty to obtain external funding to support their research. She provides project management support and coordination for pre-award processes, including limited submission opportunities and large, multidisciplinary disciplinary research teams at BU.
Prior to joining the Research Development team, Jessica was a Graduate Assistant supporting limited submissions processes while completing her PhD in Anthropology at BU in 2025. Her dissertation focused on how higher education impacted young people’s life trajectories in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She holds an EdM in Anthropology & Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, an MA in Curriculum & Instruction from University of Colorado Denver where she taught high school math, and a BA in Anthropology from Franklin & Marshall College.
