Training Grants Specialist

Ally is the Training Grants Specialist in Research Development. In this role, she supports the development of BU’s institutional training grant proposals (e.g., NIH T32s, NSF NRTs) by coordinating multiple aspects of complex training grant preparation, including project management, data collection, data table creation, and internal review. She also liaises with the Boston University Medical Campus to develop shared resources for training grant proposal development.

Prior to joining the Research Development team, Ally was a proposal development specialist in the Department of Biology at BU, where she administered a $57M portfolio of federal and foundation grants. Ally holds a PhD in Literature and Science and Technology Studies from the University of California Davis and a BA in English and Biology from Oberlin College.
