CARB-X, a BU-based partnership that aims to solve antimicrobial resistance, receives over $37 million in new funding from The German Federal Ministry of Education. Researchers at Sargent College secure over $3 million in funding for Parkinson’s Disease progression research from the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. The National Institute of Allergy & Infection awards faculty at the School of Public Health $2.9 million for their research towards understanding and addressing geographic barriers to assessing TB services in a highburden urban setting.
