    Professor Lee Goldstein was awarded almost 4 million dollars from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Aging for his research on the use of Lens Beta-Amyloid as a Novel Biomarker for early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health has awarded Professor Naomi Hamburg over 3.75 million dollars for her research about Endothelial Cell Health Across the Spectrum of Cardiometabolic Disease. Over 3 million dollars has been awarded to Dr. Swathi Kiran from the National Institute on Deadness & Communication Disorders for her research on computational modeling of language impairment and control in bilingual individuals with post-stroke aphasia and neurodegenerative disorders.
