Joshua Pederson
Associate Professor, Humanities, College of General Studies
Joshua Pederson is an Associate Professor of Humanities in the College of General Studies. He received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan and then went on to earn a Ph.D in Religion in Literature from Boston University. Joshua’s teaching and research interests include literature, trauma, moral injury, religion, the Bible, and ethics. He authored The Forsaken Son: Child Murder and Atonement in Modern American Fiction which was published in 2016. Joshua was the recipient of the Humanities Foundation Fellowship in 2008.
