Elizabeth Co

Liz Co is an educator and author in the field of Anatomy and Physiology. She is a Master Lecturer and the Director of Inclusive Pedagogy for the Department of Biology. Her areas of expertise include reproductive physiology, anatomy, physiology, representation in science education and inclusive pedagogy. Her textbooks are written with representation of diverse bodies as a primary goal. Liz has been the recipient of the Metcalf Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Gerald and Deanne Gitner Family Award for Innovation in Teaching with Technology. She is a frequent presenter and invited speaker on topics from the science of stress to evidence based pedagogy.
