Dr. Kasztalska is an applied linguist and writing instructor. She has expertise in teaching writing and professional communication to adult English language learners and multilingual students. She has conducted research on English language pedagogy and assessment, teacher identity and training, and ideological dimensions of foreign language teaching, with special focus on the teaching and role of English in Poland and Central/Eastern Europe.
