Sexual Assault
A female victim told police that she was sexually assaulted in her dorm room in the Kenmore Square area. The victim reports that she brought the suspect back to her room and allowed him to stay over. It was at this time that the assault took place.
The Boston University Police Department would like to remind our community that you need to take precautions to ensure your personal safety. Please remember to:
- Don’t let drugs or alcohol cloud your judgment.
- Only drink from un-opened containers or drinks you’ve seen poured.
- Never leave your drink unattended.
- Be assertive — don’t let anyone violate your space.
- If you feel uncomfortable or threatened, leave the situation and go to a safe place.
