Background and research interests

Josue has been working with the boundary element method since his MSc in 2006. Because of the high computational cost of the specific formulation of the BEM that the department uses, he also studied high -performance computing on graphics hardware. He has been converging to the modeling of soil-foundation interaction. Within his postdoctoral research, he is using these models to understand the influence of incoming waves on nano-facilities and synchrotron light source laboratories.
