Community Wellness Training Program for Healthcare Professionals

The Community Wellness Training Program, created by our team at the Center for Neurorehabilitation at Boston University, is designed to help individuals with Parkinson disease learn to manage their health more effectively through regular participation in an exercise program.

After completing this course, you will be able to implement Community Wellness Programs for people with Parkinson Disease using our Community Wellness Manual.

Physical Therapy Faculty Program

In collaboration with the Parkinson’s Foundation, the Center for Neurorehabilitation hosts an annual four-day course for physical therapy faculty to prepare the next generation of physical therapists to better care for people living with Parkinson’s. The program offers didactic and clinical sessions in a small group format.

We welcome applications from full-time or part-time professors in schools of physical therapy in the USA and internationally who have the ability to share information on Parkinson’s with students. Participants are eligible to earn 39-41 CCUs. More information can be found here.

This webinar, presented by the director of the Center for Neurorehabilitation at Boston University, includes information on the importance of exercise and physical therapy for people with Parkinson Disease.
