Eleanor Brown (Howe Lab) graduated from McGill University in 2019 with a degree in cognitive science and a minor in math. She was introduced to Neurophotonics during the International Program for the Advancement of Neurotechnology, in which she participated in 2018. After getting accepted to the Graduate Program for Neuroscience (GPN), Eleanor became interested in the research in Mark Howe’s lab using a novel photometry-based technique to study large-scale dopamine dynamics. She is now continuing this research to study the circuit dynamics and computations underlying dopamine-dependent
