Glen L. Urban Retirement Celebration and Symposium
June 9 and 10, 2012
The INFORMS Society of Marketing Science (ISMS), in collaboration with the Sloan School of Management at MIT, is pleased to announce a Retirement Celebration and Symposium for Glen L. Urban to recognize his contributions to the science of marketing and wish him well in his “retirement” after 46 years at MIT.
The Celebration and Symposium will take place at the Sloan School of Management at MIT immediately following the ISMS Marketing Science Conference. We plan a celebration beginning with a banquet the evening of Saturday, June 9. On Sunday morning, June 10 a set of speakers will recall their past work with Glen, describe their current research, and speculate on the future of management science in marketing. The speakers are: John Little, John Hauser, Al Silk, Dave Montgomery, Scott Neslin, John Roberts, Bruce Weinberg, Fareena Sultan, Steve Gaskin, Yakov Bart, and Renee Gosline. The symposium will end with an optional lunch Sunday.
