David Scott Palmer Grants
Each year the Center for Latin American Studies awards small research grants to graduate and undergraduate students. The awards are intended to cover expenses pertaining to research projects on Latin America including, when permissible, travel to Latin America. Projects on Latinos in the US will also be considered. Funding for conference participation is also available.
For undergraduates, this initiative is aimed at students completing Work for Distinction or other significant research projects for academic credit. Undergraduates in any Boston University school or college conducting research on Latin America are eligible to apply.
For graduate students, this initiative is aimed at students completing Master Papers or PhD Dissertations or other significant research projects for academic credit. The competition is open to LASMA students and other graduate students conducting research on Latin America.
