Event Highlights: What is DACA?

This panel discussion on the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and its impact on higher education, particularly for Latin American students, was hosted by BU’s Center for Latin American Studies and took place via Zoom on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. The presenters included Cristian De La Rosa, Clinical Assistant Professor of Contextual Theology and Practice & Director of Contextual Education and Community Partnerships, Boston University School of Theology; Alberto Fierro Garza, Consul General of Mexico in Boston; Brian Plotts, Attorney at Law; Damariz Itzel Posadas Aparicio, MTS Candidate, Boston University School of Theology. The event was moderated by Adela Pineda, Professor of Spanish & Director of the Center for Latin American Studies.
