Immigrant Activism Today

In the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision upholding DACA, Michael Birenbaum Quintero, Associate Professor of Music, Chair of the Musicology & Ethnomusicology Department, and an affiliate faculty member of the Center for Latin American Studies, spoke first with Magalis Troncoso, Executive Director of the Centro Dominicano in Boston, and then with Heloisa Galvão, co-founder and Executive Director of the Brazilian Women’s Group in Boston, and Damariz Posada, a Boston University School of Theology student and DACA recipient, about the ruling and its implications.
