Baiwen Zheng

CAS’27

Baiwen Zheng (CAS’27)  is the driving force behind the Boston University Venture Capital Group (BUVCG) as its Founder and President. She was also recently promoted from intern to CEO at her healthcare AI startup. In her freshman year, Baiwen received a scholarship to attend the prestigious VC University program at Berkeley Law School, a program designed for MBA and industry professionals.

As an Innovation Fellow at Innovate@BU, she champions tech-driven solutions while advocating for diversity in STEM fields through her involvement on the BU AI Society Executive Board and her support in developing the AI Safety Association, ensuring venture capital remains closely connected to Boston’s growing tech ecosystem. In addition, Baiwen is very passionate about the Family Office, Real Estate, and Private Wealth industry. She has worked for the LATAM Family Office Society and completed Private Equity & CRE internships under mentors at AEW and QuadReal, while also leading teams to take home 1st and 2nd place in rotational competitions.

Baiwen’s multifaceted leadership also extends to various campus roles—from Student Government’s Advocacy Committee to leading teams in case competitions—where she leverages her expertise to drive impactful outcomes. Whether singing on stage as a soprano for BU Symphonic Chorus or figure skating on the ice at Walter Brown Arena, Baiwen embodies resilience and versatility, poised to make an indelible mark in venture capital and beyond.
